Jewellery design has been a long term love and, over the last 20 years, I've created jewellery and taught jewellery making in a variety of media.
However attending courses in Belfast and at the Irish School of Jewellery in Dublin introduced me to working with silver. I love the challenge of learning new skills and now handcraft sterling silver, fine silver and gemstone jewellery using traditional metalwork and wirework techniques.
Each piece is made at my home workshop outside Belfast in Northern Ireland and incorporates the influences of my Scottish family roots and upbringing in Ireland.
I combine subtle elements of traditional celtic patterns with a clean, modern design style to create original pieces.
Ultimately my passion is to create contemporary jewellery that people love to wear.
