Taste Causeway Dine In Ideas For Your Loved One(s)

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner so it’s time to think about doing something special for the people you love. Be it a partner, your friends or your whole family a home cooked dinner is one of the best ways to bring people closer together.

You can make your dine in experience even more special by incorporating some of the amazing produce from The Causeway Coast into your dishes.

Celebrity chef, Paula McIntyre has created a fabulous festive menu with a Taste Causeway Twist, perfect for a Valentine’s night in.

Starter

North Coast Smokehouse Smoked Salmon With Pickled Radish, Beetroot, Horseradish Cream And Lacada Dulse Stout Crackers

Start your dine in experience with a fabulous salmon entree. Paula’s recipe for the smoked salmon starter calls for many Taste Causeway products that you can grab from our Taste Causeway display in the Designerie, including North Coast Smokehouse smoked pepper, Broighter Gold Rapeseed Oil and Mussenden kelp salt.

You can find the full recipe here.

Main Course

Broighter Carrots Roasted With Rosemary Butter

For a spectacular main course, pair your meat of choice with a beautifully fragranced side of roasted carrots. Paula McIntyre’s recipe for the simple yet flavorful side dish calls for tried and tested Broughter Gold Rapeseed Oil, and the addition of rosemary infused butter which adds a beautiful glaze to the carrots.

Dessert

Tiramisu

There aren’t many things better than ending your dinner with a Bushmills Whiskey infused festive Tiramisu. The coffee soaked boudoir biscuits using Causeway Coffee Company’s own blend adds a caffeinated kick to this dessert, while the Glenballyeamon egg yolks help you achieve that smooth and silky cream we all love in a tiramisu.

You can pick up a selection of coffee blends by the Causeway Coffee Company in-store.

You can find the full recipe for Tiramisu here.

If you’d rather have something different for dessert or just looking for a sweet gift, we now have a range of chocolates from The Chocolate Manor and North Coast Chocolates as part of our Taste Causeway offering.

Call into The Designerie this weekend to see our Taste Causeway selection, and browse the shop and Makers House to find the ideal gift for your loved ones.
