Emma Leahy - Dawn & Dusk Ceramic Flowers

Regular price £150.00

Tax included.

Emma Leahy is a ceramicist from County Down in Northern Ireland.  Her work is predominately inspired by the stunning countryside that surrounds her and the tranquility that nature provides.

Dawn & Dusk is a collection of work influenced by the changing appearance of wildflowers throughout the duration of the day. It consists of framed black and white art and the green and white Christmas decoration collection.

These ceramic pieces embody Emma’s observation of the changes in light by using the contrasting colours porcelain. Each piece is delicately crafted by hand before being fired to a high temperature with no glaze, a fittingly raw finish to the collection representing the translucency and fragility of the natural world. Each decoration is unique with the contrast between ceramic and natural wood.
