Join the talented Linda Lewis, who will guide you through creating a mini felted pots.
An exciting process were you work and shape the wool and fibres to produce a 3D structure which can be used for a variety of purposes.
This workshop will cater for all abilities, and you will have a choice of colours so that your creation will perfectly compliment your home.
About Linda Lewis
I am a Textile Artist and Special Needs Art Coordinator.
I create with felt responding to local landscapes. I am fortunate to be able to glean inspiration from our Coastline. The pictures are created using locally sourced sheep’s wool, which I feel adds a certain familiarity to the narrative of each piece. The wool is felted by hand to create depth, texture and feeling of movement - evoked by our beautiful and temperamental landscape.
This workshop will take place in our spacious 1st floor Workshop Studio (please note there is no lift available)
We will provide hand sanitiser, hand washing facilities & sealed refreshments.
Andrea Hayes is a Textile Artist from and based in Cookstown, Co.Tyrone. A graduate of the National College of Art and Design Dublin , where she specialised in embroidered textiles. Each piece is individual; handpainted with layers of hand dyed fabrics, hand and machine stitched with elements of copper fragments. These pieces are based on landscapes, seascapes, and local flora.

The stables had been the home to the Kilkenny Design Workshops which helped to create best practice in craft and design.
We stand on the shoulders of Kilkenny Design Workshops and are constantly inspired by their design aesthetic.
Our pottery reflects Irelands rich tradition of storytelling. Those moments that are handed down around the fireplace. Pottery has always played its part by enriching the experience of family meals or a pot of tea shared with a good friend.
We make contemporary heirlooms that last a lifetime of get togethers and our hope is that you pass these on so they become part of your story.

Who is Diane?
Diane is a graduate of the prestigious Glasgow School of Art with a degree in Silver Smithing and Jewellery. Diane has been designing and making Jewellery professionally for over 15 years from her studio in Belfast.
Diane designs and makes women's and men's jewellery ranging from necklaces to bangles; earrings; rings; pendants and cufflinks. These are all one off commission pieces or small batch collections. All her work is handmade using traditional techniques. Diane's style is elegant and minimal, her jewellery can be worn from day to night with ease. Diane's work displays a strong geometric identity, yet it is infused with organic pattern. Diane completed a specialist course in the art of filigree in Portugal. This love of pattern making and traditional skills combined with geometry shines through in her unique jewellery designs.

A simple white cushion woven in cotton and printed with a design that resembles brush strokes with black colour. Despite only using the colours black and white this cushion adds a special touch to any chair, sofa or bed you place it in. The simple graphic print serves as a perfect contrast to the often soft material that this cushion will be placed upon.
This vase is made of brown glass in its own distinctive design. The clear brown glass lets you see through the vase and see the flower from stem to petals. It has some similarities in shape to a drinking glass, except this vase is a couple of times bigger and has details that differentiate it from the drinking glass and other glass vases.
