Social Enterprise Northern Ireland, Awards Night 2022

Last Friday 14th October was a night to celebrate! The Designerie and Enterprise Causeway got together and headed to Belfast, Crowne Plaza for The Social Enterprise Awards. They are an opportunity for the private, public and social sector to get together and celebrate the achievements of those working in the social economy sector in Northern Ireland.

On the 10th Anniversary of the awards, they hit a record-breaking number of attendees since the event’s formation. with over 600 glamorous guests! So many beautiful outfits!

The night began with lots of people watching, a selection of performers, dinner and then the awards...

We had 3 successes over the evening!

One of the first awards we were up for was "Best use of Digital Marketing / Engagement" - We had tough competition and were absolutely thrilled to win Highly Commendable in the category!

Following this things just kept getting better

Huge congratulations to our CEO, Jayne Taggart who won ‘Leader of the Year’ and to Enterprise Causeway who won ‘Social Enterprise of the Year’!

These in particular were very special awards to win as they recognise the talents of the small business we work hand in hand with and the efforts Jayne goes to to see them grow and succeed.
