Spring at The Designerie – Fresh Layers, Thoughtful Craft, and New Beginnings

There’s quite a shift happening in-store as we step into spring—lighter days, softer textures, and a renewed focus on pieces that feel as good as they look. This season, we’re building on what you’ve loved most, while introducing a few new names and designs we’re genuinely excited about.

A Fresh Take on Knitwear

Knitwear has been a standout for us this past year, and it’s a story we’re continuing into spring with confidence. Familiar favourites return, alongside new arrivals that bring a lighter, brighter feel to the season.

The Paige jumper remains a much-loved staple, carrying effortlessly from winter into spring. This season, we’ve introduced it in Ocean Mist—a colour we were hesitant about at first, having only seen it online. But in person, it’s something special: a beautifully blended mix of mint, pale blue, and soft flecks of deeper blue and white. Fresh, uplifting, and quietly eye-catching.

We’re also delighted to welcome a new brand to The Designerie—Fisherman Out of Ireland. Known for their premium Irish-made knitwear, their pieces bring both quality and character. The Baby Alpaca blend roll neck vest has already proven a favourite. Available in Kelly Green and Cloud Grey, it’s a true tactile piece—soft, cosy, and striking without trying too hard.

And then, the accessory of the moment: the triangle scarf. It’s everywhere this season, and for good reason. Ours are crafted from 100% soft lambswool and come in a considered palette—green, grey, chalk, red, cumin, and petrol. An easy addition to any outfit, and one that works across generations.

Handcrafted Details for the Home

Beyond knitwear, we’ve been working on something special with Belfast ceramicist Gillybean. Together, we’ve introduced a wax melt burner that feels both contemporary and timeless. Finished in a soft matte blue-grey, it’s handcrafted, beautifully balanced, and designed to be as practical as it is decorative—a natural addition to any home.

We’ve also restocked her much-loved mugs. Generous in size and satisfying in weight, they’re the kind you reach for daily—perfect for a morning coffee or an evening hot chocolate. A simple pleasure, and a thoughtful gift.

Looking Ahead

This is just the beginning. Next week marks an exciting step for us as we expand into our first-floor space, allowing us to grow our knitwear collection even further. Expect more in merino, cashmere, and lambswool—and soon, the welcome arrival of linen for the warmer months ahead.
