We are The Designerie, a creative lifestyle and artisan store located in the heart of Bushmills – just minutes from the world-famous Giant’s Causeway on the stunning Causeway Coastal Route.

Inside our light-filled space, you’ll discover a thoughtfully curated collection of handcrafted gifts, homewares, jewellery, and contemporary Irish design. Every item we stock is chosen with care, celebrating the work of independent makers, local artists, and ethical brands.

But we’re more than just a store – we’re a creative hub. As part of The Courthouse Building - our upstairs Makers give visitors the chance to meet resident artists, see them at work, and even take part in inspiring creative workshops throughout the year.

Where it began...

The Designerie began with a spark of creativity during Christmas 2014 — a simple yet striking collaboration with local makers to transform reclaimed pallets into sculptural Christmas trees. What started as a seasonal pop-up in Coleraine quickly captured hearts, and from that small beginning, a much bigger vision was born.

Today, we proudly represent over 100 of the most talented artisans, designers, and makers from across the island of Ireland.

At The Designerie, every item tells a story — of heritage, of craftsmanship, of passion. From hand-thrown ceramics and finely woven textiles to contemporary jewellery and one-of-a-kind homewares, each piece reflects the dedication of the hands that made it. We are committed to curating a collection that embodies the spirit of Irish creativity, artistry, and design excellence.
