Inspiring Craft

Here at The Designerie we are always celebrating local crafters, and with August being Craft Month we have even more reason to celebrate!
You will remember back in March we participated in the Causeway Craft Trail, newly launched by the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.  This immersive tourism experience allowed locals and visitors the opportunity to visit artists and craftspeople, and observe them at work.
You can still catch the Craft Trail exhibition which continues at Flowerfield Arts Centre until the 31st August, ensuring that you have time to see the artisan products created by all the talented local makers from around the North Coast. Make sure to check out the work from our resident Makers,
Milliner Fee McToal and Jill Gurney from Linen Lane whilst you are there!
Why not have a look at the other events planned all over the Island HERE

Throughout August we have the great pleasure of nurturing new talent by hosting workshops on behalf of Enterprise Causeways Courthouse project. The first of which, an Introduction to Fashion Design, started this week and runs weekly, until Tuesday 23rd August for 14 – 18-year-olds.

All our workshops take place in our bright and spacious first floor workshop.

There are more workshops in the pipeline, so be sure to keep your eye on our social media posts to find out more and book your places!
