Once upon a Dandelion "The Causeway rocks!" 

Celebrating the Giant's Causeway here in Northern Ireland, County Antrim. 

Once upon a Dandelion use a combination of traditional screen printing and hand finished detail on reclaimed wood. Each piece is printed on a hand made wood frame made from locally sourced reclaimed wood.

Due to the handmade nature, each wood plaque will vary slightly from the picture shown, making each one unique.

Size : 13cm x 13cm (approx) and is both free standing and ready to hang.

Once upon a Dandelion was born from our desire to have our children experience positivity ​everyday, to have them encouraged, inspired and challenged to always be themselves.  We created quote signs for our kids and artwork for our home inspired by the abundance of natural beauty surrounding us here at the foot of the Mournes.  In fact our very first piece of artwork we created for our home was this dandelion, Philip made the wood frame out of broken bed slats and what can I say, I'm a sucker for dandelions! 


​It took 3 years of people asking us to make these to sell before we finally took the plunge, and we haven't looked back.  We are often asked where our name came from, it came from this, our first piece that still has pride of place in our living room, reminding us daily that once upon a time it all started with a dandelion...
